2026 Vacation

2026 family vacation in the books… well sorta family vacation. The 3 oldest didn’t come with us. We made a hard choice this year that we really couldn’t afford to take the 2 oldest and their significant others with us, they could go, they would just have to pay for everything themselves. And then our 3rd decided she didn’t want to go since her older sister wasn’t going and figured it would just be boring. Which I was saddened by this but I also completely understood the choice, plus what 17 year old wouldn’t love getting time away from her enitre family for week?!

We went up to Frankenmuth, MI. We go up there almost every year with my mom. It is one of her favorite places to go, plus it’s close enough that it’s not too far from home but far enough away that it feels like an actual vacation. We went Monday through Thursday, which was just the perfect amount of time. I took the entire week off of work because I knew I would need a day or 3 to recoup from the family vacation. This is the first time in 5 years that I have actually taken a full week! Normally, the most was like 4 days. And of course I was still sorta working- checking emails, replying, making sure nothing fell through the cracks while I was gone. Hopefully, nothing did, but I guess I will find out Monday morning!

This year we stayed at the Bavarian Inn. It was amazing!! My mom’s original plan was to stay outside of Frankenmuth and then just go to one of of the indoor waterparks for one day. After figuring everything up- it cost just as much to stay at a random hotel and go for 1 day to a waterpark than it would staying at the Bavarian Inn which has one of the waterparks right there. So that is what we did, and I am so glad that we did. It made life so much easier and fun for the time that we were there. Plus if my mom didn’t want to go to the waterpark- she could nap in the room. She wasn’t stuck somewhere waiting on everyone else to be done doing what they wanted.

I hope we made some great moments that the kids will remember forever. I know I will never forget this vacation!

I can’t wait for next year!

Girl Scout Roller Skating Night

We had so much fun roller skating the other night! The twins had a blast! Graci didn’t stop skating the whole night. Lijah had a lot of fun but then got distracted by the arcade games for a bit and then was done skating for the night. Mady and Lily loved it too especially spending time with their parents. Lily, after we got home, kept asking me if I had fun because she had a ton of fun.

We all can’t wait to go again!!

My little LilyBee is officially ONE years old! Its crazy to see how quick time flies!!!
She is such a sweet little baby girl!!
She is crawling and pulling her self to stand up on anything she can.
She can climb in and out of her highschair that sits on the floor.
She has two bottom teeth.
She says Hi to anyone and everyone she can.
She is totally a mamas girl!
She loves to eat and will throw a fit when she is all done or out of food!
She drinks from a sippy cup.
She loves to steal her big sissy’s binky… and her big sissy loves to steal it right back.
She loves our doggies.
She is known as baby to her first big sissy mady (who is almost 2)
She goes today for her One year well child visit!
